About

The Archive includes a research database of digital files (images, audio, video, and text) related to the people, neighborhoods, communities, businesses, schools, built and natural environment, and events that have touched the rail corridor from its inception in the late 19th century through the present day. The Archive also includes a set of interpretive exhibits created by students in Georgia State University’s History 8885: Theory and Practice of Digital History class that employ the digital resources included in the research database. Inquiries may be directed to the class instructor, Adina Langer, at alanger@gsu.edu. Unless otherwise indicated, site content is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial license.
