Description

This image provides a glimpse of a popular fair attraction called "Shooting the Chutes." The ride consisted of flat boats that shot down a ramp into a body of water. The "Shoot the Chutes" ride was located on Lake Clara Meer in Piedmont Park for the Cotton States and International Exposition.
